This Privacy Policy describes how Yamio ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our dice scorecard game.

By using Yamio, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information (optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple:

• Your name and email address (provided by Google/Apple)
• A unique user ID associated with your account
• Profile picture (if provided by your sign-in service)

You can also play Yamio without signing in by using a local device profile, in which case no account information is collected.

Gameplay Data

When you play Yamio, we collect:

• Your in-game username
• Game scores and statistics
• Achievements unlocked
• Daily challenge progress
• In-game credits and skin purchases (using virtual currency)
• Multiplayer room codes and game session data

Device Information

• Anonymous device identifier (used for local profiles)
• App version
• Operating system type (Android, iOS, web)

Camera Access (optional)

Yamio includes a "Dice Scan" feature that uses your device's camera to read physical dice values. Camera access is only used when you tap the "Scan" button. Photos are processed and not stored or shared with third parties.

QR Code Scanning (optional)

Yamio uses your camera to scan QR codes when joining multiplayer rooms. The camera is only activated when you tap to scan, and no images are saved.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the game's features
• Enable real-time multiplayer functionality
• Save your progress, achievements, and purchases across sessions
• Sync your profile across devices when you're signed in
• Improve the app and fix bugs

Data Storage and Security

Yamio uses Google Firebase (Realtime Database and Authentication) to store user data. Firebase is operated by Google LLC and complies with industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

Multiplayer game data is automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of the game ending.

Your account data and game progress are retained as long as your account remains active. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

Yamio uses the following third-party services:

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Children's Privacy

Yamio is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time

2. Include the email address associated with your Yamio account

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
